LOOK AT ME ~
A smile can make such a difference
Proverbs 17:22 New International Version (NIV)
A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Numbers 6:22-27
The Priests’ Blessings
22 The Lord said to Moses,
23 “Tell Aaron and his sons that when they bless the Israelites, this is what they should say:
24 ‘May the Lord bless you
and keep you.
25 May the Lord smile down on you
and show you his kindness.
26 May the Lord answer your prayers
and give you peace.’
27 In this way Aaron and his sons will use my name to give a blessing to the Israelites, and I will bless them.”
YOU ARE IMPORTANT ~
You can be used too to bring blessings not only to yourself but others!
Aaron and his sons did what the Lord said and they will be bless. There is something about following the words of God and allow him to use your life. Never doubt when you know you should do something. It can be the smallest of things and so important to someone else. Let God lead the way and purpose good thoughts plus actions.
I realize that some days just don't feel like a smile day. I've had many sad days in younger years myself, but looking back to find that my sadness was brought on by myself at times. I worried a lot and felt anxious over things. I never learned to live in this day or count blessings of life. Sometimes it is just good to stop and count blessings. That alone can make you smile and thank God for the things you do have in life. After you loose things or someone in your life, you find yourself sad. That's okay too because the Bible says there is a season to mourn. Just don't let that season go for many years. Everybody is different and we handle things different. Just handle it with knowing the blessings of the time you had with someone and now the new normal will be different. Different in the ways of sad at times, but smiles can override that. I know this too well. We can purpose good days.
When you go someone, realize that a smile can make someone's day too. We just never know what someone goes through in life.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
