Philippians 4:4 (NIV)
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Joshua 24:15 (NIV)
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
Remember: as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord
I was talking with a friend yesterday at church and she spoke of my example. We began to talk about how things were years ago in church. Things have changed so much over the years. We hope that people can see how people who have gone before us in serving God, have paved the way. There were challenges and victories of yesterdays. People who stood the test of God and came out victorious. Let us not forget that others sacrifices in life for us in many way. It is time to celebrate and serve the Lord.
BIBLE ~ As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
Zephaniah 3:17 English Standard Version (ESV)
17 The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
