Proverbs 16:9 New International Version (NIV)In their hearts humans plan their course,
but the Lord establishes their steps.
Life is full of change. Some change we look forward to and other change is emotional. Even though we know something is right to do, it can still be hard. I felt to write on Isaiah 43:19 about God doing a new thing. There is always a purpose when God directs a new direction. I've been through a lot in life and I can look back when my life changed in a way I never expected. We had to sale our house in Pinole and it just broke me inside. I could not see beyond the pain of it, but the process was hard. I still miss my house, but I see the purpose now. My husband and I had a plan to live there and raise our kids in that neighborhood, but God has a different plan.
Isaiah 42:5-10 New International Version (NIV)
5 This is what God the Lord says--
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
6 “I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
7 to open eyes that are blind,
to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
8 “I am the Lord; that is my name!
I will not yield my glory to another
or my praise to idols.
9 See, the former things have taken place,
and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
I announce them to you.”
Song of Praise to the Lord
10 Sing to the Lord a new song,
his praise from the ends of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,
you islands, and all who live in them.
CHANGE ~ God loves each of us and wants a surrendered lifestyle to him. Saying yes to God, takes us each down a road of change. It is no longer your will that matters, but God's will. Your free will to say yes or no to God can get in the way. A yes, is a simple reminder of who is truly in charge of your life and your ministry. Each of us is called by God to do his work and it is a ministry for sure after we say yes. Singing unto God a song of praise and see the things God has already done.
Jeremiah 29:11 a plan, a promise and a future begins to unfold for each of us. Daily learning, growing and wanting to live in this day. I thank God for using my life in teaching and leading others. I've made so many mistakes and God has forgiven me years ago. Please know that God forgives and forgets. Then he leads us into new beginnings and a living life in a better way.
People watch my life and I know that. I do my best daily but often times I mess up. I live a real life in front of others and continue to press forward. How about you? Are you trusting God today with all your heart? Don't forget that some change take times and it's a process to see things different. Your attitude through it matters more than you might think. Through the loss of our house, I became angry and showed it. It took time because my brother had just died at Christmas and the next year was so full of change, I did not see a play of God at all. The process took time for me and I was only 32 years old. I look back at 62 and I understand when people get angry at God, but we can't live in anger. We must let somethings go and change the things we can.
CHANGE THE THINGS YOU CAN ~
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
