Romans 10:17 King James Version (KJV)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
FAITH ~ is important my friends. Hearing the word of God (Bible) is full of examples of life. I speak of this often because I realize how it important it is to live our own lives. Learn from mistake, over come sorrows and press forward. Stopping is not an option even though our minds might hear something else. Sure it's easier at times to stop, but God doesn't giving us stopping at an option. Unless that stopping involves stopping wrong thinking.
Doing the right thing in life isn't always easy, but it might look easy. I heard a kids song about being caring what you hear little hear. We must not only guard our hearts but our ears. Don't listen to the voice that says you can not, because God's word says this:
Philippians 4:13 (NIV)
I can do all this through him who gives me strength
God wants to speak to you and through you. He often takes away people in our lives that separate us from people who discourage us or holds us back from his plan. We make friendships and then they seem to disappear. We need to guard our lives in hearing wrong things and surround ourselves with positive people. Any friendship takes work my friends. There will be times we agree and disagree but that's what life is about. I was giving an example within a class last night, that when we develop a friendship with someone, we want time. The excitement stays real because we look forward to it. That's the kind of friendship God wants with you. Time to think upon his goodness, what he has already done for you and praise in a new day.
Moses was a man in the Bible, who listen to God. God took him up a mountain to share a private message with him. He was a leader and did not have hear phones on. He listen and obeyed. Moses went up to tell God what people had said, but God already knew that. He wanted Moses to listen.
Exodus 19:9 New International Version (NIV)9 The Lord said to Moses, “I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you.” Then Moses told the Lord what the people had said.
You can continue to read the story in Exodus Chapter 19 about Moses. He knew how the people would react but God spoke and Moses did what he said. How many times do you feel to say something to someone but you hold back. You might hold back because you know they won't listen to you. It can be a timing thing for some of us. I know if I say this now, they won't hear me. People can listen but not hear you. Keep doing the right thing and God will turn things around. I believe his word and not only listen, but want to show a positive action.
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW ~
You are forgiven once you ask God for forgiveness of sin. He never reminds you or thinks less of you. It is our own humans minds that can't believe that God really does forgive and forget. There is something about the name of Jesus that brings peace to my mind. I know his life was real and he did his best daily. Not everyone liked him or believed him. That same action holds true today and it's a personal choice as it was in the Bible days.
Take off those head phones today and listen to the words that God is saying to you. His love is real and you are important. Life is short and we prosper as our soul prospers.
3 John 1:2 (NKJ)
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Thank you for taking the time to read this today. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
