Revelation 12:7-12 New International Version (NIV)
Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
CAN I BE REAL ~
THE DEVIL IS REAL
Inside my head are thoughts. I was in a class last night and we talked about not looking back. It's important to see where God has brought us from and where we are today. Do you have regrets of yesterdays or even today? Is your mind wondering what you could have done different and you are not living in peace today? The overpower thoughts of yesterdays and not really living in this day can happen. As I sat in this class, my mind drifted back and I found myself becoming sad. I have a past and the hurts of yesterdays came rushing back. I left the class feeling defeated inside and feeling like i hide a secret that nobody would ever understanding. Sitting in a room of people and feeling a million away. As I sat at home, I felt the tug of God speak this word, "can I be real, because the devil is real and wants to stop you".
Last night lead me to write this today, "CAN I BE REAL". Even thought we know the power of God and how powerful a thought can be, let us not forget the devil who doesn't want us to connect with others. Connecting with others, brings encouragement and pressing forward. Blocking our lives from others can divide us in many ways. It's your choice to believe in new beginnings and allowing God to help you. Stepping out of your comfort zone and freedom to come into your life.
You are not who you were yesterday, but a brand new day of God's love surrounds you. I personally know that thoughts can be hard and thoughts can be good. Thoughts are powerful and keep your mind under control. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Don't allow the enemy of your soul to stop you!
