1 Corinthians 15:58 New International Version (NIV)
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
There are so many things in life that can change us inside, but we must always remember to be brave. God has given us peace and we must keep that peace in a new day. I have found that I can stress out over things that work out anyway. Looking back to wonder why did I stress about that? I don't have control of somethings and I must trust the Lord with all my heart.
John 14:27-31 New International Version (NIV)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
BRAVE ~
Don't be scared and call up the brave you.
You can do all things through Christ and the Bible tells us that. You can change your day by changing your mindset. You are brave enough, strong enough and able to handle whatever you face this day with the Lord's help. You might feel as if you don't have a voice but you do. Never loose your voice in what is important to you. I found myself backing down on somethings because it was easier to be quiet than to speak up. I found the courage lying deep inside of me to say what I wanted and no that's not okay. It takes one voice to make a difference and that is one you to do it.
Sometimes I think of being brave by a man or woman who goes into battle for our country. Also the men and women who face hard things everyday of life with their jobs. It takes a brave person to do certain jobs of life. It takes a brave you to press forward over some big or small huddles of life. It takes a brave person to admit they are wrong and need the forgiveness of Jesus. We must stop and begin again in life. We all make mistakes and we all need a savior to help us. Nobody is perfect and brave isn't an automatic thing. You can just hit a button and brave happens. You must step up and do what is right. Be brave enough to battle your own thoughts and situations of life. That's why we must put on the full armor of God daily.
Take a minute and think about a time you were brave. You might have shocked yourself by doing something but you did it. It was like a big victory in your life and you were proud of yourself. I can clearly remembering writing a short story in middle school. I was so scared to write it and then present it to the teacher. I actually got a "A" on it and words writing on my paper to encourage me to write. I was inspired that day and knew I had faced a hard thing. I wasn't the best at writing in middle school, but that day I was. I find myself speaking about being brave and knowing I have overcame some pretty big battles of life.
How about you? I hope you find the courage to speak up and let the brave speak out. Somebody in life needs you to speak up and be brave in doing so. Maybe your words is exactly what someone else needs this day. In life we often want to know more about Jesus but show lets actions. To live his character by presenting our lives to carry his character. One of kindness and acts of bravery in life. Nothing is too big for God.
There is a song by Nichole Nordeman called, "BRAVE". If you get a chance listen to it on youtube. There is something about the love of God that changes us. It calls out the brave person inside of us and we become a stronger person. I am so different today than I was years ago. It just becomes time to live your life and forget about somethings.
My prayers continue you, your family and friends.
