Isaiah 55:8-9 New International Version (NIV)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.

so are my ways higher than your ways

BELIEVE BIG ~
Mark 11:24-25 New International Version (NIV)
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
BELIEVING ~
Life begins and we learn to believe in things. People tell us they love us and we believe that. Some of those people might hurt us or disappoint us. Others may truly love us with all their hearts. Each life is an individual and will face different things. I have learned that when I expect too much, I get hurt. I have learned when I reach out, God reaches back. I've learn to trust the Lord and yet many human thoughts run through my brain. The Bible speaks of taking every though captive:
2 Corinthians 10:5 King James Version (KJV)Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Our minds must be purposed on God and pressing toward him. I can relate this to any friendship that you want to grow. It takes time and it take purpose to communicate with each other. You learn the ways of a friend and that friends learns your ways. You look forward to talking and just spending some time with each other. God wants that friendship with you too. Spend some time in the Bible, studying and sharing the love of God with others. It's not a one way street, but a way made straight by God.
God speaks in his word that our ways are not his ways. Even our thoughts are not his thoughts. We must surrender our human selves to God and allow him freedom to change us. Somethings in life takes time and takes us to continue to believe big. Don't give up and hold onto to faith. Sure some negative things will happen, but it's through our faith that helps us keep going. I love how God will send people into my path to encourage me and they might not even know how much I need that word. God has a way of speaking through people and using us in unknown times too.
Keep the mind of Christ, keeps us doing the right thing! Keep pressing forward and allow your mind to receive scriptures and words from others. As you press into God, you will find yourself changing more. The way I look at things now, is not the way I looked at things in my younger years. I can see better and I hold tight to God.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends!
