As I write this, tears are pouring down my face. I feel the Lord saying to HOLD ON and keep believing. I don't know what you are facing, but God does and he is a promise keeper.
Philippians 1:3-11 New International Version (NIV)
Thanksgiving and Prayer
3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
7 It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me.8 God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
BELIEVE ~ being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
I'm talking about faith and holding on today. The unseen can be hard to believe. Yet, throughout the word of God, we are to walk by faith and not sight. We are to ask, seek and knock. We are to step out and hold onto hope of a new day that can bring our answered prayers. God is certainly big enough to change things for a greater outcome. Miracles still happen in the year 2016 and God's will is carried out with those who believe.
Putting Jesus in middle of your life allow trust to build. A God who is faithful and sent his only son for you and me to live in freedom. He wants the desires of our hearts to come true. He wants good things for each of us. It comes a little tricky when you pray God's will for your life. Things don't always happen the way we think, but happening according to his plan. Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future holds true for each of us.
Psalm 37:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Over time, I have learned to trust God in all things. I believe his word (Bible) and I believe in miracles. I was told my son wouldn't live but only a few days. A muscle issue that over took his body and he began to swell up at the age of two. The swelling was closing off his breathing and he needed a miracle to live. We called upon everybody we knew to pray and we began to pray. In less than 3 days, my son received a miracle of health. The doctor was shocked and he said he wasn't a believer in God, but now he was. The nurses in the office, the doctor and myself was crying. God has truly did a miracle!
God is not a respecter of persons my friends. If you need a miracle, HOLD ON! Don't give up for yourself or someone else. Stand in the gap of believing and trusting beyond limits. I realize that God has a plan and I realize his timing is perfect, but often times we must reach deep inside ourselves and believe.
Romans 10:17 New King James Version (NKJV)So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
I remember being just a child and my mother took me to a church service. The preacher was speaking about faith as a grain of a mustard seed. I didn't realize how small that seed was until I got older. That one message stayed inside my mind. Just a little faith goes a long way I was told. I believe God uses situations for us to believe and for miracles to be seen as well. I remember the blind man story in the Bible. He continue to press forward until Jesus came and healed him. He could see and people around him saw that miracle take place.
I'm not sure what so many things happen the way they do, but I know that faith is important. I know that holding on is important and I continue to do that for my family and friends. Once again, I don't know wha you are facing today, but God is able to handle your now. God is able to take this situation and turn it around to good. If you feel like you can't do it yourself, your right. You need God and people around you to hold on with you. So I am HOLDING today for you who read this and you who need hope in this new day. Look up and see the sky that God created this day. That's just a small thing that he does everyday of our lives. A new thing of faith, peace, joy and helping you on this journey of life. I care about the readers of my blog and your desires of your heart as well. I got your back in prayer!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
