Beauty is often said to be in the eye of the beholder!
Seasons comes and seasons go in our lives. Each one holds it's own beauty. Romans 10:24 ~ And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Do you see what I see? Do you feel what I feel? Can you image what would happen if you diligently seek God with all your heart?
Hebrews 11:6 ~ But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 ~ All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
Equip yourself with tools that will help you. Surround your life with people of like mind and giving your will to God. Seeking, learning and growing daily in the word of God and moving forward. Seasons will come and just like the month of October, change happens. Leaves turn color and beauty come from it. We can look around and see feel the change in the air. A cooler breeze and sun going down sooner. It's a plan of God for things to change and yet some to remain the same.
There is beauty in change. I remember a time of life when I felt so troubled. I prayed and my prayers went a different direction. I trusted God that he had this situation in his ways and yet I saw so many tears of sorrow. It was in this sorrow days that God had a plan. A plan bigger than I and I just didn't see it. Today, I can honestly say I am happy for unanswered prayers. God saw a better way out and I only saw the now of life. He can see the future and knows what is best. I see beauty in today and I see those unanswered prayers being a blessing today. Oh how I hope this makes sense, but give you heart to God and allow him freedom to change things. Some change ever though crazy hard, is a blessing in disguise.
Beauty for ashes ~
Isaiah 61:1-3 New International Version
The Year of the Lord’s Favor
61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion--
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
