4 Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,
and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him;
fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,
over the man who carries out evil devices!
DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD ~
HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART
Waiting is part of the process of desires. Not everything is given desires right when you pray. Holding on is a key factor because God is working behind the scenes of things. I can look back to see how God has brought me through many sorrows of life. When I began to delight myself in God, it changed somethings in my life. I learn to trust God and holding tight to faith is so important.
Yesterday, I wrote my blog on my daughter and her daughter. She experiences a health issue and was so sick for months. I couldn't see the why of this and I began to pray day plus night. Others prayed too and God gave her a miracle of health through a healing process of time. She made a decision to trust God. After all, God had given her the desire of her heart (A baby girl). She started writing a blog and it encourages others to hold onto the desires of their hearts too.
Romans 15:13 New International Version (NIV)
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
BE HAPPY FOR OTHERS ~
Have you ever prayed that God would give you something and then you hear someone else got that very thing you wanted? I certainly have and then I tried to figure out why. Then I realize God's timing things is different for each of us. It's not like you have a God clock and we all work off of it. We are each born a different time and day. We will having our own ending date on earth as well.
Today, let us rejoice and be glad for others. Be happy when others are happy. I sometimes see post on Facebook of people going on vacation. Several people will respond and say, "I'm happy for you and have fun". Others might say, "I'm jealous or I wish it were me". Well last summer as I stayed in the dark room with my daughter after her brain bleed, I enjoyed watching others travel. It gave me hope of someday I would be on vacation too. Today is that day, we are going to Disneyland to celebrate life. It's been one year after my daughter's illness and we have much to celebrate.
Purpose this a good day. Share hope and life everywhere you go. Count blessings of this day and always give thanks unto God. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
