BEFORE I FORMED YOU ~
Jeremiah 1:5 New International Version (NIV)5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
God spoke to Jeremiah and told him their was a plan before he was born. God created each of us and has a plan too. He wants us to live in freedom of yesterdays and know that once we ask forgiveness of sin, he enters in. He begins a good work in us and our lives can change forever. Yet, our lives will suffer some consequences of our own sings and sometimes sins of others. I know people who lost it all because of someone else. I know people who struggle through hard things of life. Yet, some put their trust back in God and they know who they know the importance.
NEW BEGINNINGS ~
Are not always easy.......
Speak words of life to yourself daily. Tell yourself you are important and your actions are important too. I can write this blog and turn around to face some hard things too. Life is built of multiple circumstances of life. It would be life, death and all the in between things. Loss of jobs, homes, marriages, family members, retirement or no retirement. We start off as babies and enter school with strangers. Those strangers influences our lives. We spent a lot of time with someone who molds our thinking and thought pattern. I love how I can help now in my granddaughters class rooms. I hear the encouraging words of teachers and how they teach.
When I was a kid, I don't remember encouragement and only remember one teacher who was not so nice to me. It wasn't just one things she did, but multiple things she did. I carried that through my schools days and even my life today. So I purpose to tell kids how important they are or what a good job they just did when I help at school. I have also taught children's ministry for years and I have found we never know what a child really goes through. Teaching about kind words, Jesus and showing them kindness is important.
What about the child inside of you? He or she still is inside of you. Be kind to yourself and continue to tell yourself you can do this. That your example is far greater than you might realize. Be confident of this, you are important! Only you can carry about the plan of God for your life. Go today in freedom of knowing you have been forgiven, your life shines and words are valuable. Be kind to yourself and then it's easier to be kind to others. Forgive those around you and move on.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
