Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 New International Version (NIV)
A Time for Everything
3 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
BALANCE THE DAY ~
When you wake up in the morning, count blessings of a new day. We just read there is a time for everything. There is always time for praise for what we do have in life. Things will happen to each of us and how we balance things out makes a difference. God has prepared the way for each of us life. We might not always like our path, but down the road, it all becomes clearer. I have seen this happen in my own life. Things I thought would stop me forever, was only a stumbling block and God brought me back to doing his will. Life's ups and downs will happen, but God remains the same forever.
Think about it for a moment, what do you need to balance? Time with work and family or friends and spending time together? The list goes on with things we should balance. For instant, the time we take for yourself. Spending time reading, studying or just watching a good movie. Last night I took the time with my granddaughters Brookley and Willow to go see the movie "Wonder". My friend Lori went along too. We saw another friend who works there Tana. Such a joy to see her.
It was a great night of a movie and then out for pizza. It was there we saw other friends Carol and her family. The place with full of voices and enjoying pizza. I hadn't done this is a long time and I wasn't really feeling good. I'm getting over a cold and I have a cough. Cough drops have become my friend, but if I didn't talk, I didn't cough. Anyway, I just saying taking time for myself was a fun night. Maybe you need a fun night too. It's not always about going out, but a good movie at home is nice too.
Today, there is a women's service at my Church. It is Hillside Christian Church 100 Anderson Road in Napa. It begins at 10am and there is shopping after it. Different vendors are coming and it will end about 1pm. Ashley is coming with Lularoe and I'm not sure the other vendors. I am giving you a personal invite if you live in the area and would like to attend. Our group is called, "Sisterhood" and we do have childcare. So the service consist of worship, a message from God's word and shopping. Oh yeah one more thing, pumpkin pie for those who want it with Starbucks coffee.
BALANCE ~
My time working in the school with my granddaughters and helping in Women's Ministry at my church. I simple love to help and be involved in others lives too. God has given me a heart for broken people and I know God does miracles. I've seen too much to doubt the power of God. I hope your today is a wonderful one and count some blessings.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
