BACK TO SCHOOL ~
We learn how to write, read, speak and new things at school. Teachers guide us the best they can and we learn how to communicate with others. It takes time to learn and to put into practice those things. Let us pray today for teachers, principals, leaders, office staff and all who make school great for kids. Let us pray their protection over them and the school. Keep in mind that it's not just a first day that kids and adults deal with, but a school year takes on new beginnings.
I look back at my kids and see how fast they grew up. They both have their kids and they are growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday that Brookley went into preschool and that was huge. Now she is going into 5th grade and that just seems way too fast. I like how smart she is and I continue to learn about things through her. She listens close and I am proud of her. My other granddaughter Willow, is going into third grade. She is so helpful and smart too. She continues to amaze me in how smart she is too. School makes a difference, but each teacher inputs into their minds plus hearts.
Adults, be patient with kids today. We don't know what they deal with inside their little heads or hearts on the first day of school. It never fails that I hear a parent at the school yelling at their child. Either they are late or just rushing to class. Plan ahead and have plenty of time at school. Make this day special and fun to remember. Hug your child and tell them today is going to be a great day. God is with you, I'll be thinking of you and school will be out before you know it. Make the best of this day and everyday with a child. Let's take it another step into a spirit moment. We have learned and grown from the word of God (Bible). Live kindness to others and share hope in this day.
Philippians 4:9
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Maybe you don't have children going into school but you certainly can pray for them. Pray for parents too because it's a new beginning for them. I was asked today to help in Kindergarten at my granddaughters school. I said yes and will enjoy meeting those little faces on their first day of school. I have no children in my home, but I have grandchildren and time that I can help make a difference.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
