2 Corinthians 9:8-12 (NIV)
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
9 As it is written:
“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor;
their righteousness endures forever.”
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
Remind yourself of God's goodness!
Prayer changes you, which changes our outlook at things. God's power is real and he wants the best for us. A new day brings changes as well. I have my door open and birds singing. There is such a calm in the air and I feel peace in my soul. God gives us wisdom as we ask for it.
James 1:5-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
I am reminded to have a thankful heart, ask for wisdom and know that my life is guided by God's word and my own decisions. Go today in peace and realize your life is important. There is always someone watching your life. You might just be the only Jesus they see today. Keep kind words, an attitude of praise and a deep breath when things just become a bit hard. Life is full of change and each day should be lived to the fullest. Through it all, learn to trust in God.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
