I was leading a growth group the other night and realize how people remember the words I say.  Someone mentioned something I totally forgot.  God hears our thoughts and knows our deepest desires of our hearts.  God answers us but not always in ways we think.  I look over my life and I see how many times I only had tears to God and no words. In those tears, God just knew what I needed and began a process of change within me.  It was my surrender to him that started my life on a different road that I could ever imagine.

PSALM 37:4 (NIV)
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

TEARS ~
There are also tears of Joy

Nehemiah 8:10 New Living Translation (NLT)And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

TEARS ~ I have found times of tears brings refreshing.  Letting emotions out and allow my voice to stay silent.  In that silence, God hears my hear in both times of sorrow and joys of life.  Life is too short to get stuck in a place of sorrow.  There is a time to mourn and those tears are important.  We mourn loss of life, things, places, times and the list goes on.  Our lives change and we are put into new normals of life. Those new normals may bring both tears of sorrow and joy.  Growing and learning daily to trust the Lord with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding of whys.

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight

Finding a friend to talk to in life is valuable.  One who you can trust and they can trust you.  When you become close to someone, they know your tears or do they?  Only God truly knows our hearts, the desires of it and the answer to our prayers.  Sometimes we get ourselves into things that are hard, but thank God he is remain the same and knows our hearts.

As a kid, I remember riding my bike and I fell.  I cut my knee and my mom cleaned it up.  She put a bandage on it and said it will get better in a few days.  How often have I heard that statement, "it will get better in a few days".   We often wait for a few days, months and even years for somethings to happen.  We don't always get what we wants when we want it. It can brings tears in the waiting period.  Times moves fast as times and slow at other times.  Waiting is a key factor to God, but I have found him to always be on time.

TEARS ~
Giving up your will is hard at times of life.

Lets pray today together: God, we thank you for a new day.  Some of us are in happy places and others in sorrows of things.  Maybe just a mixture of both hard and good will be in this day.  Help us to lean not to our own understanding and rest in knowing you are right here.  God you are able to handle whatever is in front of us today and always.  Giving our thoughts and prayers straight up to you, plus our praise of life.  A new day brings new things and new adventures for each of us.  Help us to stay on track of your will and help us to stay focus on the truth.  The truth being you love us, gave your only son and this new day is filled with opportunities that are good.  Heal those who need healing and let the process be quick.  Some need a miracle today and I ask largely that they receive it.  Thank you for all you do and are going to do this Day God.  AMEN

Purpose this a good day!
