The Bible is full of stories written. There are scriptures that can help us hold on in hard times, grow in seasons of change and expectations of knowing God will answer us. Through it all, I have learned to trust in God.
Isaiah 43:19 New International Version (NIV)
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
Each day of life, we can quote Isaiah 43:19 because God is doing a new thing! We can't always see the next step he has for us, but stepping into his plan is valuable. God's way leads us to say yes to him and allow him freedom to make us into his character. Following a plan or a roadmap is necessary in our lives. The Bible is our roadmap to life and heaven. Someday none of this stuff on earth will matter and to be with God is the final destination of life. Are you working on you today or to busy thinking about things you can not change? I have wasted so much time in thinking about things I can not change. It's crazy how thoughts can come and then just keep coming. Why not think upon God and his grace plus mercy in life. A single thought of goodness turns to more and your life makes such a difference.
Last night was the end of a 13 years teaching women to overcome things. To move past the sorrow and find the job of living. Finding he joy is amazing and last night was hard. It was bittersweet because I know that God wants to do something different with me. I am not sure what that really is today, but I know that my yes to God is important. Stepping into a blind faith and trusting without limits. God dealt with both Darlene and I to change Wednesday nights at our church. Then Lori came along side of us and felt the same thing. God doesn't always show us the exact next step, but so important to follow his plan. As it begins to unfold, we will understand clearly what he wants.
There is something in your life that you need to say yes too? Think about it for a moment because your yes can not only change your life but others. I have a yes in my life and I am starting to do it now. I hope you can stop today and see how your life blesses someone else. It is a chain reaction as one person smiles, another smiles back. Have you ever noticed a person standing on a corner and they look up? Suddenly you want to look up too just because they are. It is our human nature to be curious of what is happening in life. Look around you and see you are important!
A SPECIAL CONNECT ~
That moment when you just know God is there
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.
God had spoke to Noah to build an ark (boat). It has never rained before but Noah obeyed God. Read the story of Noah and his trust in God must have been big. As the journey continued, God made the waters recede. God was in control the complete time, but Noah might have wondered. Have you ever wondered why God was during a situation and yet the end was good? I have and that's why I think I understand Noah a bit more. Just by knowing God was in control and he knew that God has spoke to him. One yes to God saved animals and his family. Generations would read of their lives and his story continues in the Bible with more.
Today is a new day and my prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I truly care and I hope you can feel that through the words on this page. I am glad God has made A SPECIAL CONNECT between us through this blog. I hope you will share it with your family and friends. We just never know what one person is going through in life and a little encouragement goes a long way. God is faithful and I know that. I'm holding on for those who need a miracle of health, finances, relationship or whatever the need it. I'm also praising with those who are in a good place of life. Life is about others and we need others in our lives. Happy New Day!
