Jeremiah 29:11-13 New Life Version
For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for well-being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope.
12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will look for Me and find Me, when you look for Me with all your heart.
WHAT HAPPEN?
It's not too late to focus again on what really matters in life..
God has a plan for each of our lives. Our very own decisions guide down a road trouble or goodness. Maybe it's even a road of mixed trouble and goodness. I have heard people blame God for things that God had nothing to do with in life. It was their own free will and not a surrendered lifestyle to God. God opens the door for each of us and offers us the same plan as he does another. It is confirmed in Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future.
I was talking with someone yesterday that spoke of having a surrendered heart. Thinking she had surrendered all of herself to God, but realizing that she did not do that. We let things go and then take them back on in life. Not all of us, but some of us do that. Life circumstances takes us down roads we never asked for and there are consequences when it was never our fault. I have faced things in life exactly like this. I found myself wondering why I had to go through somethings that were never my choice. After talking with others, we find we have things in common. It comes down to a letting somethings go and starting over. Over with a mind to serve God no matter what and live a lifestyle pleasing unto him.
We must be careful because every church doesn't teach the complete teachings of the Bible. It doesn't matter the name of the church, it matters of what goes on inside of the church. I was a part of a church who didn't teach according to the Bible and found myself believing what they believed. Until on one day, I started reading the Bible for myself. I found out that many things were wrong in where we went to church and we stopped going. Down deep in my soul, I knew that God was real and church was a major connection in my life and my family. Yet, I struggled with finding realness of people and christians who lived according to the Bible.
As I grew older, I found places of worship (Churches) that were real and people who did their best to following the word of God. I never understood the word cult or misleading people for money but I learned quickly of that inside of a church. Once again, let me point out that not every church is like this. I attend a full gospel church, with amazing people who lead from their heart and honestly care about you. It's not about a dollar, but about a soul. Leading others to a growing relationship with God. But if I had not continued the search for the right place of worship for me and my family, I wouldn't be where I am today. I encourage you to find a home church to get connected with others, but search it out. Make sure it is gospel lead. Then make sure you line your life up according to the Bible too.
Romans 12:1-2 New Living Translation
A Living Sacrifice to God
12 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
REAL LIFE ~
Is renewing your mind to purpose
I have attended Hillside Christian Church in Napa, CA for almost 14 years now. Amazing connections and I co-lead a class for women. If you don't have a home church, we welcome you to come and get connected. There are many great churches out there with heart felt people. Don't stop attending a new church because you got hurt in a old experience. God renews, restores and wants you to live a life of freedom in Him. This doesn't just happen on a Sunday, but everyday of your life. Freedom in God is available and moving on is also available when you surrender your will to his plan.
I am thankful you took the time to read this and plant hope inside your heart. You didn't just read this by accident but by purpose. God wants the best for you and I believe that. My prayers are with you, your family and friends. I pray daily for the readers of my blog and I know that greater things are ahead of your. The plan might not have turned out like you thought, it certainly can change into greatness. Maybe the plan did turn out like you thought and you go a fantastic church of worship. It's all good and this connect was meant today to become stronger, see yourself victorious and a winner.
