Genesis 1 New International Version (NIV)
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
THROUGH IT ALL ~ AND GOD SAID
As I read in Genesis Chapter one, I noticed how the verses start off with this, "AND GOD SAID". God spoke things into action. His word continues to hold true today and we learn from the first Chapter of the Bible so much. God saw things and change things to make it better.
This takes me to the thought of this today, the word AND takes on the connecting factor of life. When a situation looks impossible, tell yourself this, "AND GOD SAID". A gentle reminder of all the great things God has already done for each of us. God made promises throughout the Bible and it gives us hope.
THE BIBLE ~
Philippians 4:13 New International Version (NIV)
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
God changed the dark into light. The separation from night to day is amazing. God wants to change your life into a brighter light. Casting away old things (dark) and bringing on a new way of thinking (Light). God separated the waters and the sky. There is a purpose for all things and God has a big plan for your life. Never doubt the power of God and if you do, simply remind yourself of the oceans that brings big waves and small waves. A wind that moves among us and it can suddenly stop. God creates change for a reason.
Thinking about a Caterpillar turning into a butterfly. Once he crawled upon the earth and moved very slow. It becomes a process of change for the Caterpillar to turn into the final design, but the outcome is beautiful. God's plan to change him into flying high in the sky with freedom, is amazing! We are much like that my friend. Once we move slow until we experience the love of God and his amazing forgiveness. We change from old ways, into new ways. A new beginning is her right now. A new day and all the opportunities we could hope for in life.
Continue to read Chapter One of Genesis and watch how God continues to move. He continues to write, "AND GOD SAID". I heard this statement: God said, I believe it and that settles it.
Freedom to live in peace of mind and soul. God has your back and wants the best for you and from you. Our decisions move us to another level in God. Spending time with him, helps us to grow in our own way. Flying high like the butterfly and know that our experiences are not only helpful for us, but others.
"AND GOD SAID" ~
John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
"AND GOD SAID ~
Jesus had to go away, but his promise to leave us peace still lives. We have choices and surrendering our will to his plan is important. He tells us not to let our hearts be troubled. He knew that trouble would come, but that choice of peace can be yours. Through it all, I've learned to trust in God. Let us not forget that there is a season for all things in our lives.
John 14:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Sometimes, things happen to us that seem not bearable. Our hearts beat fast, our minds race and we can't breathe. It's moments that take our breathe away and it's moments that we need to remind ourselves of the love of God and his power. Things may not turn out the way you think, but God keeps us breathing through it all.
Turn your mind and you trust totally over to God. Allow yourself time to grieve and to press forward over things you can not change. I'm not saying all things are easy, because they are not. But I have felt the love of God move in situations I thought I could never move forward in life again. God's power is real and when you speak God hears you. You might not understanding, but keep pressing toward God. A new day, brings new hope.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for taking the time to read this and sharing it with your friends.
