Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A Future.
Just as the clock ticks, God is working on your behalf. Behind the screen of your now, is a plan. We might not understand everything that happens in our lives, but trusting God through it all is important.
Things happen to us and we might think that's the way things are going to be for the rest of our lives. God came to give us hope, joy, peace and so much more. There will be people who come into our lives and leave our lives. When I started praying for God to have his will in my life, I saw how things changed. I had friends who I thought would be my friend forever, but that wasn't true. I had other friends who came into my life who have stayed and I see how God's plan unfolds.
When I decided to give God my complete heart, I knew things would change. I knew that I had to change first. Stirring up my faith and pressing forward. I began to read scripture and put them inside my mind and heart. Reminding myself things will be hard, but as days goes by, I would develop a friendship with God. God would then lead me in ways I never thought would happen. I see myself stronger today than ever, but I still have moments in life. The wonder of things can overpower me and I immediately change my thoughts. God's power is real, and we will trust him.
A NEW SEASON ~
Romans 15:13 (NIV)
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When I was younger, I didn't understand what I do today. I realize that not every prayer gets answered the way I think or the timing of it. God's plan begins to unfold and my trust builds daily in God. I do my best to mentor people who want my help, but with God's help. I never tell anyone what to do, but give them room for thoughts. This is what I did then, but this is what I would do now! Yes, we learn as live moves forward. Things we wish would have been different, but it wasn't. Learning to live by this statement: change it if you can and if you can't change it, move forward.
This is a new year and a new season of life. Pressing forward into God's word (Bible) and learning new things. We never know what can happen in one day. I have learned to stop dwelling on people who do not want to be in life and be around those who do. God connects lives for purpose and a greater plan than we might realize. Hold onto God and do your best to let go of things that bring you down. It takes a made up mind to serve God and to begin again. Each of us have made mistakes, but God came to give up hope and a new plan.
Proverbs 4:23-27 (NIV)
23 Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
24 Keep your mouth free of perversity;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you.
26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet
and be steadfast in all your ways.
27 Do not turn to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. It is very important to guard your heart everyday of life. Keep your mind stayed on God and count blessings. Thank you for taking the time to read this and plant hope in a new day.
