SLOW DOWN ~
Think before you act and look before you walk or drive
My thought of today is this: The Lord is everlasting and doesn't change. Let me share more with you now from the Bible.
Isaiah 40:28-31 New International Version (NIV)
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
RENEW YOUR STRENGTH ~
You can soar on wings like eagles. Think about that for a few moments. Verse 31 above continues to say you will run and not grow weary, you will walk and not faint. Promises throughout the Bible of strength and encouragement is ours. A new day does bring new thoughts and actions. Keeping our mind set on good and yet facing some difficult things happens in life.
RISE AND SHINE ~
GIVE GOD SOME PRAISE
I am glad you are you and I am me. We are different and God made us unique. Each of us put here on earth for a purpose. It's time to count some blessings and plan our days just a little better. Better in the sense of sharing time with God. Reaching beyond our moment and praying for others. Each of us go through things that nobody else knows about in life.
I have dreams and wants just as much as anyone else. I've been told my life is perfect, but they don't know behind the scenes. I struggle with self worth at times and nobody would guess that I bet. Just not being good enough by some people but a total yes by God. I value a new day more than I can say. I know that I'm alive and my choices matter. I tell myself to be confident in who I am and live in today. Someone is always watching my life and your life. Let us be good examples and as we spend time with God, we grow stronger. Each new day I purpose to be kind and share life with others.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
