HEAVEN HOLDS MANY OF OUR LOVED ONES!
When our normals become not normal
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 King James Version (KJV)
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Verse 2 ~ A time to be born, and a time to die
I read this verse over and over when my Brother went to Heaven at the age of 37. Cancer is a ugly thing and destroys so much. We often remember our past and when our normals change, so do we. We begin to wonder and want things to go back the way they used to be. It becomes real when it is one of our loved ones that leaves earth.
Noticed how the God shows us in these verses above, both sides of the example. A time to be born, a time to die, a time to keep silences and a time to speak, and the list goes on. God knew that we would deal with all things in life. So much change and let there is to be peace beyond a human understand. The strong person we become as we turn our will to God's plan. The strong person we might not even know is there, until being strong is all we have.
ISAIAH 40:29 ~
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
EPHESIANS 6:1
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Life sometimes presents us with feelings of not being strong enough. We need friendships in life that reminds us of who we are. Even friendships change over time. As we grow closer to God, we learn to lean upon his word, his connections and knowing that all things do work out. Sometimes our unanswered prayer, is the best one yet because God's plan is greater than we can imagine. Though it all, learn to lean to God as well and trust him.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
