2 Corinthians 3:1-3 New International Version (NIV)
Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
A LETTER TO YOU ~
WRITTEN ON YOUR HEART and AN EXAMPLE
God's word and promises hold true today for each of us. God wants us to know his commands, right from wrong and to carry on his character in today's land. So much time has past and yet we live in a new day. Sharing the hope and promises of God to others. How about I write a letter to God?
Dear God, it's me and I want to thank you for taking care of my heart. So many times it's broken and I'm not sure how to breath again. Then you make a way when there doesn't seem to be a way. I prayed for real friends. You know those who actually care about me and want to share life together. You gave me friends and I thank you for that. You teach me daily to do the right thing in life even if it's hard. The outcome of a new day is one in which yesterdays struggles grow me, instead of stopping me. There is power in the name of Jesus and a friendship. Kinda like a pen pal in Heaven. There is so much to gain in one day and wisdom too. Learning and growing in you and thankful for my life. I love you God and even if I don't understanding everything, I'm glad I understand you love me through it all. Your forgiveness is real and I will forgive others too. Thank you for another day of life. AMEN
That's my letter to God today and I hope you will stop to think about all the things God has already done for you. Often times we focus on the negative and we should focus on the positive. Change happens to each of our lives and the process for an answer is on the way. Even if you don't get the answer you think, trust God in the process. Sometimes we don't see the whys of life and sometimes we see them down the road.
You might never know the depth of your life and how someone else views you. Often times we don't tell people what they mean to us often enough. Take the time today to share real life with someone. Tell someone what they mean to you and you will not live in regrets of words not said. One text message can brighten up someone's day.
To my pen pal, thank you for trusting the process and God. Little by little you are growing so much in trust and I'm proud of you! Thank you for sharing real life with me.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
