Matthew 18:19-20 New International Version
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
A GREAT FRIEND ~
A man named Jesus that walked this earth and his purpose remains the same so many years later. Be careful in whom you choose to hang around in life. The Bible says there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24 NIV
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
John 15:12-15 NIV
12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
Jesus calls us friends and we are to know him as our friend. A human who walked this earth and went about doing his father's work. A servant and chosen by God to sacrifice his life. Somehow the story seems so unreal and yet so true. I've prayed and I've seen miracles. I've had other pray for me and miracles have happen. God changes things and somehow inside of each of us is a desire for more. Whether that is more of God or more of things or more a mixture. Not everyone believe's in God or his power. I've seen too much to deny the power of God. I also have desires and promises of God that are still handing out there to be answered.
Over the years, I've found that God's timing is not my timing. That doesn't mean that he isn't good Father, but I must wait and continue the faith. Maybe you are facing somethings today that seems impossible to happen. Maybe your prayers are going up and you wonder if he hears you. I've been there in life and I want to tell you that waiting is important. In that waiting we learn so much. I feel to pray for each reader of my blog daily, your family and friends. I don't need to know the reason, because there Bible says where two or more are gather. So here we are gather and agreeing on your prayers request, needs and even wants in life. God wants more for each of us and he is a real friend. Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. That's some deep family thinking right now. I only had one brother who went to Heaven at 37 years of age with cancer. I miss him greatly but I knew his love for me.
Warning ~ be careful who you trust, who you put your faith in and daily living. People can lead us astray but Jesus leads us to the source. The Bible is a open roadmap to Heaven and God puts real friends into our lives for purpose. Enjoy this new day by faith, hope and love that is real.
