JOHN 15:15 (NIV)
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
PROVERBS 13:20 (NIV)
He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm
PROVERBS 27:17 (NIV)
Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another.
Things change suddenly in our lives. The seasons that comes, can change us in so many ways. The seasons that go, hold reminders of good and bad things as well. There were times in my life when I needed someone to encourage me. Hard things came into my life and I just didn't understand the why of things. Actually, it was not only the why, but the timing of it all too. The Bible states that we should also encourage ourselves. Having that personal relationship with Jesus is so important.
I love the verse in Proverbs above that speaks of Iron sharpens Iron, so one man sharpens another! Let us not forget that God created each of us to connect and not walk this life alone. We can get someone's opinion on things, but the bottom line is our choice. Someone else can give their view and it helps us to see things differently. When I was younger, I wanted the view point of others. I realize now that I allow their view point to override my own view point. It is great to listen to someone, but never override your own thoughts when you feel they are right.
INSIDE MY HEART ~
Are sorrows that I feel that nobody understands
A FRIEND ~
A friend hears the cry of your heart and knows to pray. I might not know what you (The reader) is going through today, but God does. He is a friend who sticks close and hears the cry of your heart. I am friend through my blog who cares greatly and promises to pray. Prayer changes you, which changes things! I have gain wisdom over my years and I have seen things done right and wrong. I have tried to inspire others and yet others make wrong choices.
I can not take on the choices of you or anyone else. I can take on my own choices and allow the determination of freedom to enter my life daily. Freedom from all the negative and freedom from blaming myself over life. I worried at times about money and tomorrow, but I hear words of living in today matters. Planning ahead in life is valuable and knowing that someday you will need money. It might not be smart to buy expensive things. Wisdom comes from age and wisdom comes from mistakes. Over my life time, I have made wrong choices and I see the value of making right ones.
Things that are important ~
YOU: take time for yourself
TIME: spend time with those you love
PLAY: play with kids because they grow up quick
HOURS ~ learn to live in today because we are not promised tomorrow
BIBLE ~ guidance on earth and roadmap to Heaven
MONEY ~ save money for future needs and wants
BALANCE ~ life is full of balance and very much needed
WISDOM ~ is gained by listening to others, but also yourself
The list goes on with important things. I hear the heart of others. I meet a new person and can just feel their heart. I might not know their story, but I can look into the eyes of someone else and just know. I believe that is the holy spirit guiding my thoughts and opening my eyes to see. I don't know it all, but I have certainly been through enough to know somethings in life.
I know that you are important and so are your choices! My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
