1 Thessalonians 5:11New International Version (NIV)
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
BUILD EACH OTHER UP ~
Encouragement is so important
As a 6 year old child, our thoughts are developing and our self esteem too. I find it very important to tell kids they are smart and they can do it. My other granddaughter Willow is only 6 years old and she compares herself to her older sister who is 8. I try to tell her that she doesn't have as many years of learning and growing, but she doesn't quite get it. It is just like you and me. We could compare our lives and see what you have and I don't. Maybe see what I have and you don't, but don't forget each of our lives have gone through different things. We were never meant to be the same and each of our lives are important. Someone watches our lives and our example might be the only Jesus they ever see.
BUILD EACH OTHER UP ~
The song goes like this, "do you want to build a snowman". It starts in snow and time to roll each part of the body of the snowman. It takes action to build the snowman. Do you want to know Jesus? It takes you asking him into your heart and learning of his ways. It takes action to know Jesus. Each of us need encouragement of life. There will be things we get easy in life, hard in life and never wanted in life. It's simply called life and we are connected to others for purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 New International Version (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
A FEW DAYS AHEAD ~
As we look forward, let us not forget to live in this day. We learn from each other in life. I am so happy that God brought people into my life. When I gave my life to God, he began a change in my heart. My heart was full of sadness and even anger. He began to bring people who talked about Jesus and his ways. I didn't really get it and I was only 18 years old when my dad died. I had to let go but in not letting go, I can see how encouragement helped my life. Others who cared and showed me the importance of life. We never stop learning in life. I am now 62 years old and embrace my age. The past has taught me so much and to let go of what I can't change. The present teaches me to live in today and share my life with those I love. The future is one of hope with God and my peace rest in everyday life as well. I hope you let God be your source of strength, encouragement and reach out to others.
The great divide comes with the enemy of your soul not wanting you to connect with others. Don't shut yourself away and let life pass you by. Get connected in church, community and friends. Reach out to family and make peace with all. This season of life brings me thoughts of joy, peace and promises. I believe big and I know God is able. Purpose this a good day.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
