Life is a treasure given by God
On earth, there might be a person we call Father (Dad). Some of us know that person, some of us don't know who our dad is in life. Our life was created by God, but he used a male to create us with a woman. Homes are made up of all different titles in life. Some homes are divided and some kids have step parents. Some kids live in Foster Homes and the reason may be unknown to them. Single mom's who do it all and single dad's who do it all too. Homes that have both mom and dad to share a family unit with a positive note and some that just don't get along. Homes with two dads and homes with no dads. Homes that experience loved ones in Heaven and some just a fantastic day all the way around. Life is full of different types of homes and each one of us have our own story.
YOU ARE GOD'S MASTERPIECE ~
Choices affects us and someone else. You were created in God's image and a plan set into motion for your life. Look up to see the sky different daily and how God is still in charge.
Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation (NLT)
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Father's Day ~
Life is a treasure given by our Heavenly Father
Focus on the love of God today and everyday of life. God's mercy and grace is new everyday. It's hard not to compare life at times, but do your best today not to compare life. I will admit, I do that at times and it only brings me sadness. I wish I had moments that take me far away in my own mind. I purpose to bring my mind back to what I do have in life.
Days with title often bring our minds back to moments in life. Maybe to a great one or maybe to a sad one. I was 18 years old when my dad went to Heaven. Every Father's Day, is a reminder that he is not here anymore. He lives in Heaven now and my heart is thankful but yet sad. I didn't have the privilege of him walking me down the isle when I got married or for him to see his grandchildren or great children. I don't always understand the timing of God but I trust him in all things. I have grown so much since I was 18 years old but I still have moment of missing him greatly, specially on Father's Day.
I was talking with someone the other day that doesn't know who their dad is. There wasn't a name given on the birth certificate and will never know because their mother is dead. The conversation went on and the person just feels lost inside. Who was my father and who am I became the question. We continue the talk and the final answer came down to God's plan. There will be times when we must leave somethings alone and move past the sorrow of not knowing. It's not easy, but a must at times. Time to trust God in not understanding the complete plan and know your life is important!
REMEMBER ~ The little things in life become the most important. Time spend with those you love is more precious than gold. We can not get back time, but we can certainly do something about today. It's so important to focus on who you are today rather that what you are missing. God's said in Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future.
I do want to give Honor to God, for being a great Father to each of us. Let today be about how God loves you and forgives and forgets your sin. He leads us into new beginning for a reason and our lives were created by him. That's my focus today as well.
I know that somedays are crazy hard and I do care. My prayers continue for each one who reads this, your family and friends. We don't always know how strong we are in life, until being strong is all we have. God cares and wants this day to be a great one for you. Remember it helps to count blessings through it all. Life doesn't always turn out like we think, but it can turn out good in many ways. Keep focus on the positive today and everyday of life.
Happy Father's Day to all ~
